That was the worst concert experience I have ever had & I was one of the rockabilly dancers up the back trying to get people going.

The concert tickets were over priced and the drinks were twice the standard price. Couple this with a gig located at the furthest end of the city away from it's fanbase in the worst possible area. Psychobilly fans are not going to feel at home in an artifically created "Entertainment Precinct" in the posh eastern suburbs. It's a nightmare to get in & out driving or via public transport and the parking rates are obscene. Majority of Nekromantics fans that I know are in the western suburbs, the inner west and the northern beaches. They are in the outer suburbs & can't afford eastern suburbs prices.

I know a lot of people in that scene and could only get one of my friends to go with me because he was a die hard fan as well. No one else could afford to go. We paid about five times what we would all in to go to any other concert and had to borrow a friend's car. We danced & tried to make the best of it only to be pissed off by a tantrum by the lead singer at the end of the night.

The rockabilly and psychobilly scenes have their own markets, their own clubs, even their own stores, restaurants and pubs but they do not live in $1M terraces in Paddington & can't afford those kinds of prices. Those who did make it did not deserve to be berated for their dedication.

No talent? You've got to be kidding me. Kris Sheehan's hands are a blur of mechanical precision dancing along the fretboard. Where do you get off saying they're not really Aussie? That's blatant misinformation, these guys are Australians. You can't ceremoniously strip them of citizenship because they don't fit your view of what Australians should be and how they should sound.

If you think the music is shit then that's your opinion and you're entitled to it, but give credit where credit's due to talented musicians and don't spread misleading bullshit.

A Season Of Secrets are one of my favourite bands, if you think they sound good on an EP you wait till you hear them live! Their stage presence is immense and I seriously love these boys, some of the nicest lads I have ever met and they will go far I know it! Both their EPs are amazing and I could spend days listening to them both on repeat

The 'non tech savvy promoters' is a valid point. Bands are going to do it, but I think it would be good to see a permanent notification under the 'likes' section stating for example 'BIV purchased 30,000 likes' that'd stop it pretty bloody quick. Fbook is an invaluable promotional tool, the more honest we can keep it the better. It'll die a slow death the more people realize that it's so easily manipulated
